Good afternoon, I'm looking into getting an ATV in the near future, I have a few questions still holding me back from taking the plunge.
First question is, I noticed through the iTunes store that some movies can be purchased in HD through the ATV directly. But if you purchase the movie through the ATV directly, are you able to move it?
For example, I have a couple extra External Harrddrives laying around, I've read that I could eventually do a hack on my ATV so that I can hook an external up to it, but in the meantime, would I be able to hook the external up to my MacBook Pro and transfer the movie off of the ATV to the Mac Pro iTunes then move it to the external? or if you make a purchase through ATV directly it has to stay there?
I'd only be looking at purchasing the 40gb version, but if you have to purchase some HD movies directly through ATV and can't move them off, I'd have to seriously consider the 160gb version..
