hi everyone i am new to the whole mac world. i just got a iMac 2009 model. and i am having a hard time finding a replacement for the one i was using on my pc allot video to dvd burner

i could put 3 video files or more in and it would compress them and fit them onto a single dvd.
can anyone recommend a program for my iMac that can do that?
also what would be some must have programs for my iMac
