Newbie Questions please help me out

I am thinking of picking up the iPhone this weekend and have a few questions:


1) How many different gmail accts can be accessed through the mail app?
2) I am on ATT so I will not unlock but will jailbreaking for the purpose of 3rd party apps harm my phone? The worst that could happen is apple locks them out again right?

1) you can sync as many gmail accounts as you want
2) there will be no harm to your phone the worst will be Apple locking it out again
