Newbie wants to be sure

OK, new to Iphone, just got a 1st gen 1.4 and from reading up I see that Pwnage is the way to go to Jbrk and use the Iphone on my T Mobile account, but I have some questions.

In I phones with the AT&T service what did customers use to access their emails?
apple mail configured to an AT&T mailbox? I know you could always choose a pop like google our yahoo mail.

Second, do I have to upgrade my TMobile account to get web access, I have a 700 min a month plan now. if so I heard it's like 9 bucks more a month, well. on second thought lemme just call and find out.

any help on the question above?

Just called T Mobile, the full web plan is $19.95 a month extra from current plan, comes with 3 email addresses. Really don't need the addresses since I can always access my POPs through Google. I heard the TMobile web plan was $9.95 guess I heard wrong but there is another plan called the WAP plan which you have to type WAP before the url to access pages on a much slower network for $5.99. I think I answered all my questions, sorry for that but if anyone with knowledge wants to chime in please do as I have a few more days before my new present gets here and I can begin the festivities!

My girlfriend uses my old iPhone on Tmobile and she's got the 9.99 Tzones plan. Most everything works, except the odd app or two. Like Pandora will not work over EDGE for her, but email, Twinkle, and Safari do (although EDGE still sucks compared to 3G, and she usually asks for my phone when she wants to use safari).

See that! the t mobile op pushed the $20.00 a month plan and told me the $5.99 plan is limited, doesn't use Edge and you have to type WAP before the urls. Now, if I wasn't on this forum I would not know that the $5.99 plan is sufficient. Is that cause of the Tzones hack in Cydia? probably!

Also wanted to ask, how do I add custom ringtones to the Pwnaged Iphone ?

What I meant, I was using mp3's as ringtones on my razor. Can I do the same with the Pwned Iphone software thru I tunes?

Seem to remember that back when IPhone first launched you were not able to use any other ringtones except the ones in the phone, am I right?
