Fellow users, I have a 'newbie' question about back ups.

I use iCloud to backups contacts, mail, notes, calendars, and etc. Except my Photos (it's too much).

Also, I do have a backup via iTunes in my PC.

The backup on my PC stores all the things that iCloud do AND my Photos as well?

How can I make sure it backups my photos? I searched the web and saw that I needed to manually backup my pictures using the Windows import tool from the galley, how it works exactly?

Thank you so much!! :D

The local iTunes backup will backup your photos that are on your device.

You can also set windows up to import all your iCloud photos into the Windows photo gallery.

have you considered to use USB iflash drive to backup your photos / videos / docs?

How is that different than just doing it on a computer?

No different, however, it's easier to handle... just simply plug and save.

You don't need to carry your computer for backup ...

Plug into what? And how does that relate to what the OP was asking about?

I think that you have to tell iTunes whether you want it to back-up photos or not. I'm not sure, but I think that's the case. I think there's a check-box to back up all photos automatically, back up only those photo files you select, or not back up photos.
