newegg and gskill now have 8gb sticks of ram

Yeah newegg has had 8gb sticks for months and hey have had it for his price since black Friday...
Gskill are new the others at the low price were corsair and patriot. gSkill are very highly rated for the 4gb sticks they make.
both corsair and patriot do not have the same high ratings of skill.

corsair has 114 reviews with 17 1 or 2 total 85.1 percent good.
gSkill has 395 with 33 1 or 2 and 396 with 32 1 or 2 total 91.8 percent working. not the most mathematically correct when to determine failure rate but corsair has 82 percent higher failure rate then gSkill. I have purchased about 100 sticks of gSkill ram with 2 bad sticks. my point was the ram has a better chance of working. then the older bargain sticks. t
the patriot ram has 26 reviews 8 1 or 2 69 percent good that is a failure rate of more then 30 percent . also 54 reviews of 1 stick show 13 with 1 or 2 75.9 percent good and 24 percent bad.
While the success of 4gb sticks does not mean 8gb sticks are the same. I rather use the company with the better reviews. I have to say that I have used 4gb corsair sticks 8gb corsair sticks 4gb patriot sticks all good but only 8 sticks total maybe 10. and i have used a lot of gSkill enough that it is a fair sample.
4gb 1 stick and 2 stick kits since june lots of different dates

I have had very bad experiences with g.skill SSDs. Based on that experience I'll pass.
On side note, going 8GB 1866MHz Kingston Hyper X yields far more performance if you can not use more than 8GB. I can say that 16GB protects SSDs because page outs are extremely rare.
