I am having lockup issues with my new Mini. I changed the RAM to 3gb and a SSD. boots fine but completely locks up after a period of use. Only way to cure it is to force reboot via power button. Anyone here has the same issue or know what I should do?

The 1gb module is stock that came in the mini. The 2gb module was from my MacBook Pro (original Apple).

If the RAM is not seated correctly, wouldn't it not boot?

I know its a different storage device but your ssd might be bad i had a 750 gb seagate usb drive totaly lockup my system from time to time the bad thing it was my time machine drive so luckly i had a spare drive and replaced it i would have the beach ball with the drive pluged in so when i finaly unpluged it the machine acted fine

Same DDR3 RAM, just different brand.

I am not getting the beach ball of death. Just no response from mouse or keyboard.

Wired or Bluetooth? If it's Bluetooth, have you checked to make sure they're not just disconnecting on you?

there Bluetooth. I will try screen sharing next time it happens to see if it is the Bluetooth. Something tells me it's not the Bluetooth.

Any other ideas on what could case the crashes?
