I used to rely on Fusion for testing old versions of macOS. The latest free version, version 12, has been nothing but trouble for me.
For various reasons, I have not been able to convert or use any old VMs created using previous versions of Fusion. I've experienced endless reboot loops, kernel panics, and an inability for the VM to share the host Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, despite that preference being checked.
A Big Sur VM created using Fusion 12 works but is markedly laggy and the graphics are less than poor. Dragging windows is a smeary mess.
Strangely, Windows 11 runs excellent in Fusion 12.
Has anyone else found Fusion 12 to perform poorly with macOS guest operating systems?
