Has anyone else noticed the news app has turned into complete garbage with the 14.3 update? It’s a stuttering mess on iPhone and iPad and particularly bad on iPad. The main “Today” view seems to want to constantly update and slide up. Constantly showing “new stories available” every time you back out of an article back to the main page. Seems to be a constant thing with apple lately. One step forward , two steps back.

I haven’t had any stuttering problems on my iPad or iPhone.
Polling for new stories etc. is normal behavior when background app refresh is turned on.

That’s not what I meant but ok. I know it pulls info. The point is that it’s pulling constantly even after reading a story and then backing out.
before if you pulled to refresh it would stay where it was with the same stories if you kept doing it. Now I can pull to refresh and itll just keep showing new stuff with each refresh. This makes it very hard to keep a place in the news feed
Also since 14.3 on iPad I don’t see top stories or the top 6 trending stories. They show fine on iPhone but not on iPad.
