Has anyone found a way to get the saved list in the News app back on the tab bar? Seems like it's buried at the very bottom of the channel list now.

Last year they moved the save / unsave feature to the share sheet, this year they hide the whole list. I guess Apple really doesn't want us to save article for reading later haha.

Yeah, that is annoying.

But my biggest gripe now with the News app is the sidebar in landscape mode, that I have no way to turn off on my Ipad pro. In portrait-there’s a button, but not in landscape. If I wanted to lose 1/4 of my screen space, I’d be using portrait already. And to add insult to injury, I’m left handed, and like to scroll from the bottom left corner with my thumb. Now it just scrolls the sidebar!!!!! WTF?!?!?

Came here to ask about just that - is there ANY way to get rid of the bar? It's made News in landscape near useless on an iPad. This is just bad design.

You can make a Siri Shortcut (not necessarily using the Shortcut app, but from within Settings > Siri > All Shortcuts). I set mine to work when I say: “News Saved” and also “News History”.
