I cannot figure out how to make the News app sync between iPad and iPhone, the iCloud account is the same, the setting in settings.app is on on both devices but my feeds (favorites) do not sync at all, if I add one favorite feed in one device is non existent on the other.

Saved items sometimes sync but they do not "unsync" etc.

Is this happening to everybody or maybe an issue with my iCloud account?

I think they just haven't fully switched this on yet. It's still in its first beta release. When I open News, it usually stalls when it comes to the point of trying to sync for me. But, since there is an option to sync News in the iCloud pane in Settings, I'm thinking it'll be fully enabled before long.

The sync worked for me after a week roughly. News crashes on my iPad now but my selections have made it to my iPhone so I didn't have to go through setup on each device. The service is not ready yet, rough is a good word. Looking good from my view so far but a journey with many miles remaining.

While on the topic let's hope they add something on For You that will let me tell the service that I don't like what they selected for me. I'm getting articles about things I don't care about from sources I didn't select. I get its doing me a favor based on current input but let me notify it as we go what I'm feeling and not feeling like Music does. All for now...

I was having crashing issues as well since I first installed the beta - News would immediately crash on launch. Then randomly, the other day, it actually loaded normally for me, with a full For You tab. Some of my individual channels still aren't updating, but this is definitely progress! My saved and liked articles, as well as my history, are also being synced between my iPad and iPhone.

We're still in the early days of the beta, so I'm sure we'll see more improvements in these areas as the weeks go on.
