iPad News Apps for iPad Pro

Looking for opinions on the best news apps for the Pro.

I was a big fan of The Daily (anyone familiar? It was like looking at a printed newspaper in terms of graphics and layout; unfortunately it folded in late 2012, but would have been great on the Pro's huge screen!)

I've downloaded Flipboard but not really digging it. USA Today is a fairly decent app but looking for something with a wider breadth of news.

Preferring something without a paid subscription (a la NYT). Thoughts?

Well, from today I’ve gone fully digital for my news consumption. Using the London Times app on subscription.

The only problem there is , is that there are no notifications . I just wrote to the dev about that .
