News feed broken on Facebook app?

The news feed on facebook seems to have broken for me today after I click logout and then login again. Whenever I select the Home button it always displays a picture saying "News Feed could not be loaded at this time".

I've tried 2 different facebook accounts on both an iPhone and an iPod touch. I'm annoyed with myself since it was working perfectly on my iPhone and I only logged out when the feed wasn't working on my wifes new ipod.

Anybody else having the same problems or is it just me?

Yeah, mine seems to not be working either. I'm not getting an error message like you, but it's also not current (the last updates are from last night, the last time I logged in).
 
Not working for me either, it won't let me view other's mini-feeds either, maybe they are updating the way that it accesses the information to give you more than status updates on the Home Page, and more than status and picture updates on the mini-feed, although I suspected an update via the app store would have been the way to do this.

EDIT: It also won't update the number of unread messages at the icon at the bottom of the screen, it isn't showing any new messages above the inbox icon while I have a new message in my inbox.
 
also cannot load my own photos

I also cannot load even my own photos. I post a pic and the get a message tell g me I am not authorzed to see the feed.

My photos upload whether taken in facebook or with the native iPhone os camera and I can sees tiny thumbnail under the album but can't access the album.

This happens using either 3g or edge.
 
Mine has been hit or miss depending on the day. Some days nothing works at all.
 
I've noticed this as well over the last 1-2 days. The news/mini-feeds are broken, along with Chat. I'm assuming it is a facebook server side issue, not an app issue.
 
Yeah mine's been screwed up for the whole day as well (UK). Hopefully they'll sort it real soon, I use the app more than the web page!

Same problems regarding updates to news feed and mini feeds gas been happening to me as well over wifi.

US, iPhone 2G.
 
Mine, too

My news feed was working yesterday, but my iPhone updated software last night, so I think that might have something to do with the problem!
 
The newsfeed for Facebook is broken in general. I haven't used the app much but when i'm simply on facebook.com, i'm always getting the same events multiple times, over the course of a couple weeks.
 
Well, just tried it again to see if time would heal the problem, and nope, still the same problems:

Home News-Feed will not update
My Mini-feed will not update
None of my friends' Mini-feeds will update

But as somebody else pointed out, there has seemed to be a slight problem with the news feed on the main Facebook site, items will be there one minute, and gone the next, it is starting to get annoying.

Same thing has happened to me all day. Still not working for me.
 
Whoa, how are you guys getting a news feed? I'm running 1.1 and all I can see are status updates. I can view individual mini-feeds, but not a universal news feed (a la the 'Home' page on my computer).

Maybe I confused you, it is only status updates, I have just always called it a news-feed, you are seeing the same thing as everyone else.
 
Ah. I've noticed that in the screenshot on the App page, it shows a news feed-like page, so I was confused with that as well.
 
facebook login for itouch

I cannot log in to my facebook account i my itouch. I think everything is set properly because i have no problems when i long in on my computer. Anybody else having the same problem? I get an incorrect email/password combination

WTF does this have to do with a thread that is nearly a year and a half old?
