I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 10.2.1. A friend of mine have an iPhone 6S with the same regional settings and the same iOS version. We have diffrent carriers. We both live in the same region in the same city in the same country. But the news widget only appears on my iPhone 5 0_o It appeard for the first time toady.

Anyone knows why this might be the case? Is it releated to the carrier?

Thanks for answers :)

My news widget shows even when I travel in China. So I have no idea why your widget shows only on iPhone 5 but not iPhone 6s.

In my case the news widget disappeared from iPhone 6 after iOS 10.2 update, but stayed put on iPhone SE. Both phones are running the same version of iOS now (10.2.1). Different cellular carriers, but same household. No idea why this would happen.

The widget works for my friend in other countries, but not in home country.

The widget do appear on an iPhone 6 owned by another friend of me. That iPhone also runs 10.2. Maybe there is a bug with the 10.2 update for some iPhones?
