Newsstand app New York Times not sync computer

Hi I have recently upgraded to IOS-5 on my iphone & ipad and Lion on my MacBook pro - I wanted to try the new newsstand feature in ios-5 and have a trial version of new York times in newsstand on both. I am syncing my devices via iTunes thus far on my MacBook pro and have not used iCloud for that yet. My prob is that I'm getting an error message that my computer is not authorized to sync the new York times app within newsstand but all my other apps are able to sync and I checked the settings it is authorized. So far I've cleared settings and tried to re-auth but no avail? Any ideas . . .
