Has anyone had any luck with their subscriptions downloading in the background yet? I even got notifications from Wired and Vanity Fair saying all I had to do was update the app (which I did) and that issues would be auto-delivered, but all that happens is the new cover shows up as the icon, but you still have to open that magazines app and hit download from within. Is this the same for everyone else? Did they not say that issues would auto-download?

So far out of my 4 subscriptions, only one seems to actually update overnight. Wired, OXM and MacLife don't seem to be updating.

Thanks. Seemed like such a cool feature, hopefully the bigger publications get their acts together.

Agreed. My only other "complaint" is that Future publications are still listed as new even if you read them. It drives me nuts that Newsstand now always has a 2 in the icon.

I'd be satisfied if I could just get the notification button indicating I have an issue ready to download to disappear after I've downloaded it. Going on three days now and it's still there.

I saw in another thread that you have to be plugged in and on wi-fi in order for things to auto-download. This could be the issue, since I've always been on wi-fi, but not plugged in that often. Doesn't seem that well thought out yet.
