Okay so I am working on my backup solution for my mac where I use time machine to backup to a drive and then swap that backup drive with backup drive #2 every week. I go out and buy an identical Black Nexstar 3 Sata drive enclosure for "backup drive #2" which accepts firewire 400, USB 2.0 and eSata. I also bought a 2TB seagate hard drive. When I assemble the drive in the Nexstar enclosure it doesn't show the drive on my mac! Why not? I have tested the cable, tested other drives in the enclosure, tested my mac ports, but still cannot get the damn drive to work. It is such a simple thing and I thought these external drives were plug and play! It is a brand new enclosure and just does not work. On the package it say it is compatible with mac as well.

Any ideas?
