Basically, I'm asking what X should be in the next iMac. I don't know what the current-generation iMacs have for the value of X, so I can't speculate based on that... in fact, I'm in the market for such an iMac. ;)

EDIT: I should probably clarify what I mean here... the Rev. D Intel iMac, which is what I have now, is known internally as "iMac8,1" - you can find your Mac's number in System Profiler, which is in the Utilities folder.

Current iMacs are 11,y. 2009 iMacs are 10,y so logic would suggest that the next ones will be 12,y.
