Basically, I'm asking what X should be in the next iMac. I don't know what the current-generation iMacs have for the value of X, so I can't speculate based on that... in fact, I'm in the market for such an iMac. 
EDIT: I should probably clarify what I mean here... the Rev. D Intel iMac, which is what I have now, is known internally as "iMac8,1" - you can find your Mac's number in System Profiler, which is in the Utilities folder.
