What do you folks think the chances are that apple might make the new imac more user friendly to hook up other devices like a ps3 are? Right now i have a 2007 macbook hooked up to a 24" monitor and its basically my desktop. I really need a performance boost and I'm really excited about possibly getting a new imac. I do however have my ps3 hooked up to my current setup as well and really like having it all in one place like that. Any thoughts?

The iMac have the option to accept a display port input. If you can get a display port output from your PS3 I wouldn't imagine its hard at all.

I thought that the current model required a 150 dollar converter of some type to get the hdmi into mini display format. It'd be really nice if they'd accept hdmi natively to hook up other devices as well.
