Having an iPad for the last 3 months made me aware of several simple features and bugs:

WIFI it there are more than 1 accepted network, it doesnt remember the last one it was using before power off and next time you power up either goes to the alphabetically first sorted network or doesnt connect to none of them... weird

The 720p resolution has to go! 1080p rules ... do what you have to Apple

one USB3 port is needed!

faster processor and video memory and storage

The wireless card 11.n does not support 40mhz channel to get 300mbps and the range is very small increase power and better antenna

Flexible solar panel charger

Apple should allow the iPad to be a 3G phone too...

Apple must match and surpass BB business features NOW

Come on guys what useful features we need for next iPad?
 
Few small wishes, hope it isn't too much:

-> Battery that lasts for 24 hrs, at least

-> retina display

-> slot loaded blu ray reader

-> gyro scope

-> 50% lighter


Can't wait till next month!
 
What I would like
-longer battery (even though I get 13 hours out of mine)
-USB 3.0 would be fantastic
-SD reader
-maybe an 11" display? I like larger screens
-Upgradable RAM and such
-Gyroscope
-camera (not to worried about that one, but it's probably gonna have one)
-4G
-hidden speakers

What I think is fine
-the display res
-weight
-thickness
-storage sizes (although 160 GB would be nice)
 
Camera, smaller size option, lower price, USB, facetime, MAYBE a dvd drive?, and larger capacities, more like the ipod classic range.

not only is retina useless on an ipad, it would drive up the cost to the point where its not worth it to buy an ipad. and the only reason i say front facing cam is because apple is trying to popularize facetime, so the more iOS deviced have it, the better.

Oh I understand that a camera would be just perfect for a lot of people, but for me, I'll just stick with my first generation :)

- Front facing camera
- Brushed Titanium housing
- Longer battery life (2-4 weeks of constant on)
- HUD
- Tazer
- K and L band RADAR
- Automatically inflates into a 4 person liferaft when submersed
- Ejection seat (family size)
- Ability to replicate food items, especially a wide range of alcoholic beverages
- adjustable X-Ray (so you can see bones, or just through clothes:D)
- Ability to add 3-4 inches to your penis, GUARANTEED
- Automatically launches precision airstrikes at idiots who post stupid threads.

if we have to go for more ciclismo's features, LOL then:

Auto flushing everywhere toilet
Valet parking
Wife or girlfriend arrival detector when flirting at the bar
etc

but seriously the front and back cameras should be coming before December since Apple has them in the iPhone and the more they get out the more return they get back :apple:

An integrated NEMA differential GPS with a high sensitivity SIRF III chip is a must if Apple wants to compete with the new Garmin phone and Android tablets
 
My request is quite simple, 2 speakers (enabled if in landscape mode) so movies don't have audio from 1 side only.

I agree. However it would be cool if there was an app that allows to connect to an external DVD player. Essentially use the IPad just as a screen for a ultraslim external DVD player. I can see a lot of people paying 100 bucks for that setup. You would of course need a power source for the DVD player but for hotel rooms, planes, train and such it would be nice to have as long as DVD's are around.

new CPU with better performance/less power use
better battery life
multiadaptor that is: SD card reader, CF card reader, USB port, allows charging through USB (EU regulations for phones might trigger this), video out, video in
4G
lighter
stylus support
many software improvements (in fact the iOS improvements needed are more important than hardware changes)

bah, they promise me that daily by email. doesn't work:eek: never got beyond 20".

Yeah!! You could use the MacBook Air Superdrive attached to one of the USB ports!! The only problem is it would probably be limited to that one UNLESS you jailbreak:mad:

Idk, seems like way too much trouble to me. Why not just load the movie onto the ipads internal memory?? :confused: i dont think they would ever even make an external dvd drive available.

I disagree. Now that the external 8" Bernoulli drive attached to my Motorola brick phone has finally bitten the dust, I'm in the market for a new cumbersome version of a convenient portable product. Maybe I can find an old DecWriter terminal to use as an external keyboard for my iPad?
