I have a one-time opportunity to get a decent discount off an iPhone (like, 1/2 price), debating whether to get one now or wait for ? July? 1,2,3 are what I'd like to see in order of preference. I'm guessing (1) is a given, pretty much? I'd be gutted if I bought now and the next gen one had all 3, .... ... so I guess that answers my question

get the 3gs now, when the 4g comes out, sell the 3gs on ebay, (you can get more that the undiscounted price btw) and then get the 4g.

the ipod has 2 slots for memory, the iphone 1 (due to a reciver taking up the other)

2. I'm like 90% sure this will happen. A salesman at my local phone store told me that the new phone will feature a removable battery. This would also solve one of the major flaws the phone has which is the very weak battery life; something that puts ALOT of people off from buying the phone.
