I am going to be switching to AT&T and I was wondering if I should wait for the next gen? Is there a typical time that Apple releases?
Thanks,
Jake

According to the pattern, the next iPhone will be coming in June 2010.
Think it would be worth the wait or will it just be a speed upgrade like the 3Gs?
Personally, I think there will be a complete redesign of the iPhone with a new OS too. I would wait if I were you.
I think there will be a complete design overhaul and maybe a compelling new feature or two. There have been rumours of a 64gb 3G(S) before the next iPhone but nothing else in the pipeline until June 2010.Think it would be worth the wait or will it just be a speed upgrade like the 3Gs?

Thanks, I'll try to hold back! I have wanted an iPhone since they first released them!

According to what I've read online, the iPhone has a good chance of being released between the 28th june-2nd july next year. The story is that there's a booking at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, where apple has held the WWDC event for the past three years, and where they released the past two iPhones. The booking is labeled 'corporate event', which is the label used by apple in the past. You can read that on iLounge under news. Hope that helps.
That def. points to a more definitive date. The Moscone Center is the traditional place for the June events.
Makes no senseActually the iPhone is more than likely going to be introduced 2 weeks after the conference.. But of course iPhone os 4.0 along side a hardware overhaul..
It's because the first generation had a spec update and the Buyer's Guide is simply math. If you want more information regard this, look here.
