I like the size/weight of the X and would prefer not to go any larger. My 7 Plus was too big in some situations and didn’t really add much benefit. If the feature set between the two were the same, I’d absolutely go with the smaller version. Going smaller has been great for me and a lot of others I am close with. Most people I know are going smaller, the large phone fad will die off eventually.

So because it's good enough for you, it's automatically what everyone else wants? You're not the center of the universe.

You really would like weight to increase until you have a brick to your head?

What? No they aren't. In fact Apple is known for the constant improvement in efficiency with all their products and they continue to get better battery performance *despite* having lower overall battery sizes and even reducing the mAh the last few cycles in their products.

I fail to see their innovation in battery tech. Their last innovation for batteries was in 2008 and then 2009 with the new battery cell technology that allowed integrated batteries to Macs. That tech spilled over to other iStuff.

Yes, they get “small” increases at what cost?

Yeah, and the 7 Plus and 8 Plus have on average the same or longer battery lives than the X. Your point?

What's wrong with people wanting a bigger phone. Just because you don't want it or think it should happen, you're the supreme authority on that decision?

I’m not forcing my view on you. I’m arguing my view. If you don’t agree with it, fine.

The X is already almost too big/tall so I can't imagine a larger version of it. I guess for people that can't see well and soccer moms who can easily carry it their purses.

I actually look very forward to the 6.5 iPhone X that has been rumored. I don't mind larger iPhones, but what I don't appreciate, is having to carry them in my pocket, which I do find uncomfortable. But if somebody wants a larger phone of that size, then they have to be willing accept the trade off in return.

I can see myself getting the X plus. Whilst I’m enjoying the more compact size of the current X compared to the last three generations of plus phones a sucker for large phones.
