well. the size must be able to fit 4 usb slots, dvi output, power button, firewire slot. the smallest they can make probably is 10-15cm wide in size. and they exclude the dvd drive like the MBA.

I think they could introduce a new member to the mac family and call it the "Mac Micro," which would be just like the picture you showed, except with maybe three usb ports, dvi out, firewire, and a power button, and rename the "MacBook Air Superdrive" to something like "External Superdrive: For Mac's Without An Internal Superdrive."

That would be nearly impossible by today's technologies, even if we could do it . It would be horribly slow and expensive. How could it even run iLife. While nice it isn't possible or practical today.

lol, it would look terrible because all the stuff plugged into it- think about jamming in a vga, power, 3 usb, etc. all into that little box - the mess!!!

not gonna happen. be happy if apple even UPDATES the mini in the next year...

apple is secretly developing the wireless connection for all of them. har har. be sure yo use rubber clothes all the time to avoid any electrical shock. har harr! :D

Can't do it in that form factor and achieve any sort of decent performance. It'd be unusable.

Besides, with the update schedule that we've seen on the Mini, it's obvious this is Apple's red-headed step-child. It's a second class citizen and has to make do with technology that's two generations old.

It would never happen, but that'd be so cool if your computer plugged right into the outlet like that... and it was like an Airport Express computer thing.

It would be good if the computer only contains the screen, keyboard and mouse just like the iMac, but much slimmer, let's say like the new Sony OLED 3mm thick!
