Nexus 10 question

Google Nexus 10 packed a lot of pixels but is it too heavy and warm to hold with bare hands? My thoughts is because iPad 3 and 4 are bit too heavy and warm because of retina display?

I haven't try out Google Nexus 10 tablet yet that is why I made this thread.

I don't own one nor have I used it but going by the spec sheet: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=5071&idPhone2=5084 it seems to be a lot lighter than the iPad4. As for whether it gets warm, having owned a Galaxy Tab10.1 I'd say it probably does, all my Samsungs (Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Tab10.1) tend to get very warm when used heavily, and so does my iPad, it's what thse gadgets generally do due to their ridiculously fast Multi core CPUs and GPUs, but chances are the Nexus 10 is probably more ergonomically friendly due to its rounded edges and plastic build, so it will be easier to hold and use for longer periods than the iPad4. - This is all based on assumption coming from my experience with other Samsung products.

You should ask that on a different forum: plenty of android based forum out there.
Only thing I can say for sure is that iPad 4 isn't heavy nor warm in any way.

Thank you Tsepz very much for reply. Tab 10 does not have mch pixels like Nexus 10? My roommate has old Galaxy Tab 7 it is little heavy and I did not feel any warm at all.

Have you tried iPad 2? I went to Apple store to try iPad 3 and 4 to compare with my iPad 2, boy I will say BIT heavy not TOO heavy. Also maybe they are warm just because iPad 4 are left on to demo all day?

I haven't try out Google Nexus 10 tablet yet that is why I made this thread.

I own one and it's extremely comfortable to hold and the corner's don't hurt your palms like the iPad does. Since the back isn't metal it doesn't get as warm. It's a very solid tablet tablet that doesn't flex.
Unfortunately it's not very attractive and doesn't look nearly as nice as the iPad. This is one of the most powerful Android tablets available and the iPad still smokes it in most benchmarks.

Yep, iPad4 has one hell of a CPU/GPU combo, there's yet to be an ARM based tablet that beats it in benchmarks and gaming.

Interesting because my iPad 3 does get warm in the back but not a big deal. Apple must have improved on this in the iPad 4.

They used a processor with 50 percent more surface area in the iPad 3 to accommodate the GPU. It does run hotter than the iPad 4.

Makes sense. The warmth has never been a big issue for me though although some people seem to make a big deal of it.

My iPad 3 is feeling slow. Definitely will be looking to upgrade sometime this year. Maybe when the second gen Nexus 10 comes out. Or maybe go for the second gen Nexus 7 and see if the smaller screen is doable.
