Nexus 5 vs LG G2 Camera !

I currently have a nexus 5 and finally got my hands on an LG G2 Rooted and running 4.4.2 the battery + Screen Size/Display are much better than the Nexus 5 but what's up with the camera? took a few shots and found out the Nexus 5 pics are much much better than the G2

anyone noticed this or is it just me ( this applies to both Front /Back camera)
are there any fixes or mods that will step up the G2 camera?

I don't think so. Sometimes with more development these AOSP ROMS get better with the camera quality, but don't expect stock LG camera quality.

There's something in the G2 section of xda, can't remember if it's a mod or what, but it's supposed to really improve the G2 camera.

For AOSP rom there isn't really a good camera mod, but the one for the stock rom is good.

AOSP cameras are mostly bad because the manufacturers won't release the important drivers.

I have a G2 and you will have install the stock LG camera on 4.4.2 for them to look good. Also it depends on which gapps you used. Some of them don't have the 13mp option. So, two options :

Check to see if 13mp is an option in your camera settings

Install the LG camera on 4.4.2 custom rom

IMO this takes better pics than the stock camera (however a few features such as front facing camera are usually broken on AOSP or CM)
