Wow sweet deal. I wonder if we'll see the 32GB for sale on Black Friday for $199 :)

So, it was 10% off? Mmm, not bad. Not a super amazing deal either... but not bad.

No Australia? Damn, I was really annoyed that my N7 dropped in value so quickly. I'm still selling it, but I'd like the difference in price back, as I've had to offer it at a far lower price to get it sold.

Doesn't seem like you can ever win with Google.

I doubt it's Google, it's probably an Australian thing, we nearly always manage to get shafted with tech pricing and tech deals. It's gotten a lot, lot better in recent years, but the divide's still there. Our government has actually launched an enquiry into tech pricing here, MS, Apple and Adobe are about to be subpoenaed to explain why they charge Australians more for products relative to other countries.

But in relation to Google, I love their products (bar one ;)), I use all of their Internet services bar Drive (I use Dropbox). I just think Android is very, very ordinary compared to the rest of their products. It's a shame, I thought a Google OS integrated with their Internet sevices would be perfect for me. I'll just keep using the rest of their services and leave the operating systems to those who know them best (Apple and Microsoft).

If you bought it as recent as the offer applies to, can't you just take it back? The offer extends to October 29th, 2012.

I bought mine from an Asus stall in an Australian shop, I was hoping I'd be able to take advantage of Asus' offer, which applies to purchases before October 29. I don't know if I'd be able to do it even if it was on offer here, seeing as I bought it instore rather than online. Oh well, looks like I'm not going to get that money back.
