I doubt it's Google, it's probably an Australian thing, we nearly always manage to get shafted with tech pricing and tech deals. It's gotten a lot, lot better in recent years, but the divide's still there. Our government has actually launched an enquiry into tech pricing here, MS, Apple and Adobe are about to be subpoenaed to explain why they charge Australians more for products relative to other countries.
But in relation to Google, I love their products (bar one
), I use all of their Internet services bar Drive (I use Dropbox). I just think Android is very, very ordinary compared to the rest of their products. It's a shame, I thought a Google OS integrated with their Internet sevices would be perfect for me. I'll just keep using the rest of their services and leave the operating systems to those who know them best (Apple and Microsoft).
