NFS Shift iPad - need help drifting

Any tips on getting high drifting scores for the drift challenges? I can drift but am not racking up big points so I'm obviously not doing something right.

To drift around a corner you're supposed to push one hand away from you while pulling the other hand toward you. Repeat this motion every 1 or 2 seconds to stay in the drift.

Ahh. I haven't been repeating that often so I think I've been losing the drift. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

yeah I'm having trouble drifting as well, soo annoying, been stuck on the same level for ages
