Has anyone tried running NHL 2007 on a Windows XP partition particularly on a Macbook 2.0? Sounds like it requires the following:

System requirements:
CPU Speed: 933MHz
Disk Space: 2.0GB
Display: AGP Video Card with 64MB+, NVIDIA GeForce 3, ATI Radeon 8500+
Memory (RAM): 256MB+
Operating System Compatibility: Win98/ME/2000/XP, Not Mac Compatible

I've run other EA Sports titles in XP (via Bootcamp) on my 2.0GHz 20" iMac, and I've had no problem, so in principle it should work; a XP/Bootcamp Mac is a PC in almost every way.

HOWEVER, there is an ATI X1600 (256MB) in my machine, whereas your MB doesn't have a dedicated 3D video card, which might be an issue with a 3D-intensive game like NHL2007.

It should run fine. I had it running on a P4 3.0GHz with a POS X300 at 1024x768 with no issues. 1280x1024 was choppy at times but still OK. On a Dell Core Duo with integrated Intel video it was OK. 07 is basically a modded 06 (which in turn was a slightly modded 2005) so if you could run it two years ago, you can run it today. I vaguely recall running 2005 with a Radeon 7500 with no issues. The game itself is horrid though!

IME the only EA Sports game which taxes video cards is the Tiger Woods series. I noticed a significant improvement going from a X300 to the slightly less crappy X1300, and a huge improvement to a 7600GT (as expected). Madden 07 taxes the video hardware slightly but I was still getting 30+fps with a X1300 at 1024x768 and all details turned up full.
