Hi folks,

My nhs mail account uses exchange 2003. I can log in using SSL with the iPhone 'mail' OS application, but can't on my iPad. It just keeps asking me for the password. Both are set up exactly the same and I know the password is correct because I can login through my web browser and on the iPhone.

Any suggestions, or apps which would let me use the full push and calendar options? My full calendar is linked to my mail. Don't want to have to sync it through google or something

Found this on a blog which might be of help...

Just had the same problem myself (and locked myself out of NHS mail!)

''Here’s my first post from the iPad. I previously posted that I had some problems connecting to NHS Net email service from the iPad. It turns out that this is the issue with the exchange configuration. You need to enable a passcode lock for your device first before you configure the account. It will then work flawlessly.''

Hope it helps

Paul

Have been using NHS mail on my iPad since launch daybwith no problems. As the above post says once you have set the passcode it shd work flawlessly.

iPad problems

despite setting screen lock I still cant get local NHS email to work (exchange 2007 refuses password). Mind you doesnt on iPhone either so i wonder if something isnt set right on the server side. Will investigate and post back
