Decided to try my new MBP just on battery power tonight to see how long it would last.
I had the display set at just over 50%, just general web surfing and I have my notebook setup to announce the time every 15 minutes. I also have my Novatel Mobile Broadband card attached to the USB port and a mouse attached to the other USB port. Keyboard lighting off.
I had a total of just over 3.5 hours of constant steady use. That's 1.5 more hours than what I was getting with a more or less comparably equipped HP XP laptop. Nicely done here on my MBP!
Now I'm gonna attach that little power plug to the left side of this most excellent computer and get some shuteye.
