Part I of the review was very interesting because it was filled with useful facts. Part II, alas, mostly dealt with shaky analogies comparing the writer's loaded 13 inch MBA to his Mercedes Benz automobile. Say what? I love great cars and I don't doubt the author's representation that his E350 is wonderful but what possible relevance it could have in a review of the MBA was lost on me, at least. Anyway, thanks to the OP for posting the followup, I appreciated that, at least.:)

the E-class is the most leased vehicle in the MB line-up. :D

if he's add his hair dresser's commuter car into the equation ... it should've at least been the E63 AMG which is worthy of comparison.

Yes, part 2 was a let-down for me. I was hoping he'd get into some more real-world testing discussion.

And I'm not a Mercedes fan either.

I disagree. I quite like the review and get the comparison to the Merc. Although it would have been nice with some opinions on real world usage ;) (but then again I don't know if part 3 is on its way).

I particularly admire the Mercedes Benz E350, my daughter and son in law have one. Not surprisingly, they love it. Likewise, I love my 13 inch Ultimate MBA but what one has to do with the other escapes me.

I ride an R1100GS

What one has to do with the other is that they are both superbly crafted machines that do ordinary things in an extraordinary way. Each is essentially a work of art in its respective class.
