I dunno about you, but I find I'm more enamoured with the new look in Yosemite than I was in iOS7. Just seems to fit better to my eye.

Also, it looks a lot like some of my favourite Gnome skins, and just like with those my one criticism would be the blue folders are a little to garish.
 
Yosemite looks more like the design most people where expecting in iOS 7. Very few people were expecting iOS to go completely flat, but instead a simpler, flatter, but still using shadows look. I like new look on both.
 
Couldn't agree more with the post above.

Even now, the new look of iOS is a complete letdown for me. It didn't grow on me as I thought it would.

When I watched WWDC, I remember I was scared when they were just about to unveil Yosemite, but it's truly awesome. The UI has a few hiccups, but generally, I'm happy with it.
