The developer, nin9tyfour, has been working on the tweak for a few weeks now and he's submitted it to the BigBoss repo. It'll be 99¢.

This tweak looks really slick and more polished than Eclipse. He's even managed to get Calendar and Mail working, too. And now, the obligatory pics:

You can customize the tint level with RGB sliders. There is also a Flipswitch toggle for activation in CC. Note: you have to kill apps you set Nightmode for. Here's the link to the full image gallery: http://imgur.com/a/TXQWi#fnCEcFo

Personally, I'm excited for this. I hope the developer polished it as much as the pictures suggest.

Bailey Seymour is also releasing a tweak called uicolors, he submitted it to cydia yesterday, his tweak is same concept but his isn't limited to dark. With his you can choose the color.

Yeah, I've seen it. For me, someone who doesn't want to mess around with colours and just wants a reliable dark theme, Nightmode fits the bill. I also read that UIColors is suffering from a few bugs.

Yup will wait to see which one to use after both are released, I'm leaning toward ui colors so I can make it match my background,

I liked it better when the navigation bars weren't pure black...still looking forward to grabbing it though.

It looks from that last screenshot like you can customize the tiny of a lot of UI elements. It might be possible to make the nav bars grey instead of pure black.

The tweak was submitted on Thursday. The dev said he was told that paid tweaks go through a more rigorous submission process and that it typically takes 2–3 days to appear. So perhaps today and very likely by tomorrow at the latest.

It says the tint and table highlight color...I know the tint is the writing and all that. Not sure what table highlight color is though.

The tweak is finally available. I went to buy it and, to be honest, I'm a little disappointed. This tweak is buggy. There are buggy sections everywhere. For instance, in Calendar, the month view (as shown in the screenshot) looks fine, but the week mode has white parts mixed with the black.

So if you plan on buying this tweak, be warned that it's still buggy. I can't tell if it's better than Eclipse (perhaps someone else can). I'm not too happy that the dev "tricked" us into thinking it was better than it actually was… I will give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he's able to fix these bugs.

If you have any specific questions about the app and want me to try out, I'll be happy to oblige.

Eclipse just came out with an update this morning. Running on my iP5 and won't switch to this new tweak as it seems (so far) Eclipse is doing all I want/need it to without incident.

I don't know, but I prefer Eclipse over NightMode. The new update is working great. People were way too hard on Fr0st...all they needed was to give him time to fix the issues. NightMode is cool, though. I'll keep it installed but disabled for now.

Brought this but wasn't as good as I thought it would be. But the new update to eclipse has helped fix a lot of bigs and I might just end up staying with eclipse.

I like uicolors a lot better, it does the same thing except you choose the colors.

Here is a screenshot of my current theme with uicolors:

Any bugs? Can you compare to eclipse?

Yes 2 bugs I found are:
*keyboard letters are still white
*graphic glitch with the message bubble ( developer is aware of this and already wrote on Twitter that it will be fixed in next update)

It's like the same thing as eclipse but you can change all the colors, not just dark themes.

Here is 1 screenshot that shows the 2 bugs I have expierienced

Also here is the devs twitter account so you can get a better idea of uicolors

Also give him some time to iron out any bugs as he just released it today and he is only 14 years old.
