I dropped my Nikon 24 to 120 lines over the weekend. It seems OK but I want to get it checked out. After taking some test photos the edges look soft. I was thinking of sending it off to Midwest camera repair. I was looking for any other recommendations. Thanks

Sorry to hear that. The only people I know are in the UK. Good luck with it.

I've had two lens repairs done in the past. The first time I went to a third party shop and they simply sent it to Nikon (I ended up paying an additional charge). So the second time I sent it to Nikon myself.

Directly to Nikon. A cousin of mine works in photo retail sales. He told me that the authorized Nikon shops all send their repairs to a Nikon facility.
