Hey everyone. I was wondering if any of you have ever gone to one of Nikon's, Nikon School classes either for "Introduction to Digital SLR Photography" or the "Next Steps: Color, Light, Technology" classes? I remember last year I was kind of interested in these and then kind of just forgot about them. I got a email from Nikon(I have a D40x) informing me that they're classes are coming back to my city(Phoenix) in February. I looked at the website for them and they are $119 and $159 for the classes, kind of steep. So, I would like to know if anyone has feed back on them, or if you've gone to similar classes with a different camera manufacture.
I cant remember the rule about posting links to other places, so if I'm not suppose to do this, sorry. Let me know and I can remove the link!

Thanks for your time!

I've never attended one, but everything I've always read say that they're good, I've only seen a couple of complaints about salesy content. However, if you think $120 is steep for six or so hours, then you might not have the same view. Is there a reason you're looking at doing that over say a Community College course where there's a longer program and more networking opportunities?

The reason is because I'm bored,lol..I took beginning and commercial photography in high school about 3 or so years ago. So I was just looking at these for a "refresh" if you will. The price if you compare it to any kind of school is very cheap, but if your like me and just want to do something fun that day and maybe learn something new its kind of expensive:D

You'll probably have more fun, and definitely spend less money.
