I want to play Mario Kart online, but I can't get it working. I cannot get it to work with my router due to using WPA not WEP (when I change it to WPA, my iMac will no longer connect so I can't do that).

I can't use my iMac as an access point as I'm getting my internet from my router via the AirPort so I cannot send it out with it as well.

What I was thinking of doing is running VPC with XP then using the USB thingy the've got, but I've got no idea it that would work.

Anyone got an ideas how I can get it working?

EDIT: I need this working before Tetris DS comes out ;)

EDIT 2: Will this work:

Turn off WPA
Set the router to only allow set MAC address in (The Windows box, my iMac and my DS)
Turn broad cast of network name off
Go and kick ass on Mario Kart

How safe would it be to do that (I'm not in a very built up area and I know that there are no other wireless networks within the next three street (Me and a friend went looking for free internet, it work)). So there's no one else trying to get a wirelss signel.

i think by doing this thing
with allowing some mac addresses only and making it stealthy
and well giving it a ****ed up name

it would be secure enough from wanabe "hackers" lol

I am confused here. Are you currently using WEP or WPA?

The DS does *not* support WPA, it does support WEP.

You can use either WPA or WEP with a Mac...

So long story short is, use WEP if you want a "secure" wireless network, and you want to use your DS.

Believe me it works, I have an iMac and a DS.

I'm using WPA. Typo in first post. I cannot change to WEP as my iMac won't connect with it. I've tried loads t make it work, but nothing will at all. I've now given up on it and just turned it off and fillered MAC addresses. It's only the internet being shared, no thing else. I'm going to leave it like that.
