I'd actually rented the FLIR from my local Home Depot so I could go around the house, identify air leaks and plug them. I'd gotten the idea from a "winterizing your house" article I'd read somewhere recently.
While using the gun in my home office I turned around and thought it would be cool to image the nMP. It wasn't under load at all...just a couple of things running like Mail, Safari, iTunes, Calendar, Omnifocus, etc.
What I love about the nMP is that no matter what I throw at it, it never seems to break a sweat and I never hear the fans really spin up.
