Looking for pros and cons; all things equal
If one has nothing on a thunderbolt bus, bus 1 for example, is there any benefit to directly connecting two separate thunderbolt displays directly to the two thunderbolt ports for bus 1, verses connecting one TB display to the nMP and daisy chaining the second display off of the first?
This is for 4K+ video editing.
Will there be delay/refresh/lag issues if daisy chaining the displays verses directly plugging each display into the nMP? Once again, this is on the same bus - the other two TB buses are for media/RAID/eGPU/etc
