Concept 1

I want to turn mine into an aluminum beer keg, or a wooden looking wine barrel. Both will have a little spigot at the bottom, hanging off my work desk :D

Problem: Not finding a small wooden barrel just slightly larger than the nMP, but thin enough that the back and side can be cut out for I/O and airflow ports.

Concept 2

Darthcintosh, a vader light face mask and helmet on top of the nMP. Possibly with USB powered red LED lighting behind the eye sockets. I like to turn off my office lights to keep the room cool, any co-workers walking by my office shall see the glow of Darthcintosh's eyes... :D

Problem: Finding a Darth Vader helmet that fit perfectly... Will pay $$$ if someone is a 3D modeling wizard and can produce such an item...

What are you doing to decorate your nMP?

I want to find a nice stand/mount to put the nMP on, to keep it off the rug.

Something like a cube of pretty wood or black/silver metal. I need to figure the right night to minimize me crawling on the floor making connection, yet fit under the desk with room on top for cooling.

Extra credit for being hollow, and open on the back for cord management, and to possibly stash the LaCie (rugged) SSD which will be my bootcamp drive.

Apple sticker on front to finish it off.

I think colored aftermarket cowls or even colored plastic covers like the one I have on my mbp.....I just want a blue one, is that to damn much to ask for?

Easy, one of these:

Painted like Steve Jobs and mounted on top of the vent to flail whenever the fan kicks in.

i'm not sure what the exact size of heineken's mini keg is but it seems like it might work.

sounds like all you're missing is a saint bernard :D

I probably want something to protect the handle portion so I wont scratch it when I move it around

I'll stick them on the mac with some kind of "no mess" removable picture frame mount and call it a Dalek.
You're forgetting the plunger ;)

I think I'd want just a nice circular pedestal, not much wider than the machine itself, just to make it more accessible and easier to dust. I was thinking I could make my own pedestal with a bit of circular perspex for the top, so I could drill some holes for extra airflow.

I dunno, I think for a $3,000+ any decoration should be at least a little functional too :)

I was looking for. Ore of a metallic paper or something i can glue or velcro to the outside. I have no tools or skill with metal or woodworking. That keg does look about the right size, but you would need some major metal working to cut out the back and side for the ports and air intake.
