I think most people (as I do) use the nMP name but the others convey the same thing. I think when people use the Mac Mini Pro, its more of slam and its not intended for actual meaningful discussion

Extremely flawed and silly that the official support name isn't on the list

http://support.apple.com/specs/#macpro

Mac Pro (Late 2013) or Mac Pro 2013 [ No idea who regularly puts the numbers in front of the name. Although if looking for skewed poll results; not particularly surprising they are there. ]

After several update iterations "nMP" is not going to be mean as much. Alot of the hype here is about a transitional name, not one that will be used over a long period of time.

Yeah, true. Missed those ones too. Although I did add "2013 Mac Pro" but its not exact I agree. I was using the terms I've most seen used in the forum. Maybe a Mod can edit that poll option and swap the wording around?

Sorry to maybe go off topic but nMP stands for "new Mac Pro" right?

i prefer the term new Mac Pro.

Yup, bang on. I also like that term but what happens when another Mac Pro comes out, that will be the new new one and old posts won't apply any more. Same as the New iPad. It's a weird naming system. I guess from a marketing point of view it just means "latest" for the less technical shoppers out there.

oMP stands for Old Mac Pro and I think some people started calling it the cMP for classic :D
