nMP ram question/advice...

I just upgraded the ram in my nMP and removed the 16gigs that it shipped with.
The question I have is should I sell the ram as a group of 4 or should I sell each 4gig chip separately so people who bought a base model with 12 gigs can buy the single 4gig chip to fill up the final ram slot?

Also what price do you think I should be asking for them? altogether and separate.

My guess is you'll have trouble selling single sticks to any 12GB nMP owner. First, there's probably not too many yet, secondly, those buying 12GB most likely want to upgrade to 32GB, not 16GB. I'm guessing you'll have better luck selling them as a set. However, i suppose there's no harm in listing them both ways and see what interest you get. I think new 4GB sticks like yours are around $50-$60.

I had the same question ad when I looked on Ebay, they seemed to be being sold individually more than separately. One other idea is seeing if there is an ebay reseller in your area that will take them.

If you bought your extra RAM from OWC, they will give you a $112 check for the Apple's stock 4x 4GB RAM modules. This is about 50% of their retail worth, but better than nothing.
