nMP ready for collection - what should I test in-store?

So, happy days, my quad-core/1TB SSD/16GB RAM/D300 is ready for collection.

I've been following the forum for a while and seen a few hardware 'quirks' reported with a small number of units - is there anything I could/should test or look for in-store when collecting my nMP?

Possibly:
- WiFi with TB monitor in top left port
- Sleep/resume dual monitors
- Sleep with attached storage?

Any thoughts?

Several months ago some people complained about a kind of high pitch noise but in the last few months that was not mentioned any more so I assume it is resolved.
Presently someone in another thread complains that the lights don't go on when turning the computer. (Even if it is off as long as it is connected to the electrical supply when you turn it the lights where the ports are should go on). Very minor thing IMHO.
In the past someone complained about some scratches inside he found when removing (lifting) the enclosure.
I cannot recall any other complain besides what you mention.

Seems like a good list. Make sure the aluminum doesn't have any blemishes or scratches. Where are you picking up your nMP from anyways?

Thanks for the additions. I decided to change the storage to 1TB - so a little more wait - but I'll hopefully collect from Apple.california next week.
