Was hoping they would get caught up...guess I was wrong.

Nothing changed, it takes them 4-6 weeks to deliver the nMP into customer hands. So probably the demand is still high, maybe only by mid of this year we'll see the shipping time improved.

Right...the first dates slipped from Dec 30 to Jan to Feb pretty quickly....then we held tight to Feb for several weeks, so I was just hoping that when I order in March, I wouldn't have to wait until May. I guess if it slips to April then I'm going to go ahead and order. Like you say, though, at some point they should be caught up and turning them around in a week or two. I guess I was hoping they would be at that point by the end of March, or even beginning of March.

I think they had a total underestimation about demand, or people in Austin are the slowest workers on earth. My sister lives in Austin, so the second option would make sense.

Austin is awful. The traffic there is so bad, it's quite possible these new mac pros will take 6 weeks just to get out on I-35! When I travel to San Antonio, I fly just so I can skip over austin!
