Hi all.
for the last 3 days whenever i put my mac pro to sleep i come back severals hours later with the mac pro completely off.

re-start the nMP by pressing the power button with a "sleep wake failure experienced a problem"
tried contact applecare via chat and they recommended doing PRAM and SMC reset.

done that and the problem still exists. also ran Diagnostic and no issue.

nMP6.1 6 core D700s 32GB running OSX 10.9.5

don't recall updating any software 3 days ago or have anything new installed on the machine.

Thanks in advance.

After 3 hours OS X goes into a "deep sleep" mode normally. RAM-data is written on the SSD and after that the RAM is powered off to save energy.

Go into terminal and type "pmset -g" and post the results here.

There may be an issue with the so called standby delay.

Try to increase "standbydelay" to 43200.
