Hi all,

I just wanted to know, how much the theorotical maximum spped of the SSD in the nMP is?

Samsung released his new SSD 950 Pro, which can write up 1500MB and read 2500MB.
Is this also possible when there is a compatible Module or do the nMP not support this speeds?

Thank you in advance :)

The nMP's SSD is on a PCIE 2.0 4x bus, so the max bandwidth is 2000MB/s.
1600MB/s

500MB per lane yes, but using 10B8B encoding which means that for every byte transfered 10 bits are sent over the bus, so only 4/5 of the bandwidth is available after the bus/encoding eats its share

So the new SSDs with NVMe does not match to the nMP. It would be a non sense because you can not profit from its full speed also when there were a compatible module to nMP.
