I'm just wondering why there is no option for 13" 1.86/128 to 2.13/128. Only 256 SSD model can be upgraded to 2.13. Apple thinks that they just don't want same option as rev c.? I think that's not fair to who just want only 128SSD for 2.13Ghz. 256SSD would great for everybody but I'm just the one who save extra $300.

Because it's the base model. 2.13GHz would be nice, but if 0.27GHz matters to you that much, getting the Air is probably not a good idea.

it's not a matter of 1.86 being "good enough" or 277 MHz being a big deal... it's a matter of apple knowing their market, and knowing that 90% of those who want the 2.13 will be willing to pay for the 256gb ssd. i was one of those people... reluctantly.

i'm getting tired of all these people on here saying "omgz if you care about 4gbram/2.13ghzcpu/insert-spec-here then you don't need an air".

Don't listen to other people's ignorance, he was just trying to deflect the question and make a cheap shot that ended up in a pretty loaded statement about people who need airs

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

I agree that the faster processor with the 128SSD would have been a nice option. I would rather get the smaller hard drive now and upgrade it later when the bigger drives come down in price, as they always do. Apple does indeed know better. That's why I keep buying their stock. :)

I'm getting tired of people reading too much into comments. I really don't know where it comes from, it's like people are automatically assuming that other people have malicious intentions and posting it to hate on the Air.

Maybe take a step back and read the comment. And don't assume.

Edit: I'm actually getting the 13" Air to use as my primary computer.
