What is the alternative for 3D to in in iOS 13? For example in iMessage I can hardpress the icon and get my recent contacts to text them directly. Is there a way you could do that with iOS 13?

Haptic Touch, which is basically long press.

I only get new message when I long press. No recent contacts.

Give it a bit of time, mine did the same and after a couple of hours it came back.

By the way, on devices that support 3D Touch, it still works like that in iOS 13.
