Yeah, this was my biggest disappointment about the new iPhone announcement. It's not like any of the other Smartphone competitors have it, but it would have really set it apart for video. On the other hand, 4k 30fps is still quite good on the iPhone and should be sufficient for most shooting situations. For higher FPS requirements, I will just use 1080p. The storage requirements for 4k 60fps would really have been demanding as well, but I suspect we'll see it with the next iPhone.
 
Yup, a huge disappointment for me too, all my video recordings are set to 1080p 60fps, just imagine how beautiful 4k 60fps would look!
I don't get it. It should only make a difference in slow motion, right?
