I haven't seen this topic discussed yet. Developers will not have access to change prices on christmas eve. Those who plan to discount their apps will probably do so on the 23. We all got an email from apple letting us know that there will be no access to itunes connect 24th - 27th. Having said that, discounted prices will remain in effect 4 days.

Developers, do you plan on discounting?

Buyers, do you plan on shopping like crazy?

I'm debating, I think I will sell more but since its cheaper it might turn out to be the same revenue. Also, I don't want to piss of customers who just purchased at full price. I guess I have to decide tonight...

You have until tomorrow night to decide. From my experience you will definitely sell more but you will make less money at the end of the day. You will also have more users to support. Some people will deffinetly get pissed. I got two 1 star reviews in turkey. I don't understand what they are saying but it is clearly about price because they list my price history. Then again I also got a 5 star review in the US complaining about price as a joke.

Its very hard to ignore the fact that cheaper apps are at the top of the list. Since you have been feature, it may help you stay up there. Good luck.
